Role Overview:

Our IT Managed Services division is growing so we are looking for a Channel Business Manager to talk to reseller/dealers about our services and help them to sell our portfolio.

You will need to have experience in working within the IT channel and be comfortable in a role which will predominantly be new business orientated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ability to establish productive and professional relationships with key personas in partner accounts.
  • Able to identify potential channels and partnerships to target with the range of Sharp Products.
  • Ability to articulate and present value propositions to convince DP’s of the ROI/Incremental business opportunities through diversifying their existing offering.
  • Develop value propositions that clearly demonstrate a ‘logic’, ‘customer need’, ‘competitive advantage’ – that will evolve conversations to a point where there is a ‘willingness’ to invest time / people / money with Sharp product / services.
  • Operational focus, to co-ordinate the involvement of other Sharp stakeholders to assist with delivery of value prop, and on-going management/support if required.
  • A business development mindset to understand potential partner’s objectives and develop a customer planning process, that clearly develops and articulates ‘tangible’ partnership milestones, showing out investment/commitment
 
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with working with the IT Channel (B2B)
  • Appetitive/experience in working with/developing new channels
  • Confident/fluent in creating Value propositions (business proposals)
  • Role will require extensive travel and face to face engagement
