Inside Sales Account Manager  

Role Overview:
We are hiring for 2 Inside Sales Account Managers to work alongside our Public Sector Sales Managers, through managing existing accounts, developing new business and promoting Sharp’s Office solutions portfolio. Great opportunity for highly motivated self-starters with previous experience in Internal Sales, dealing with technical products.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing and developing existing accounts (70%) and generating new business (30%)
Supporting Sales Management Team with quotes, sales proposals and renewals
Providing support to end customers to escalate and resolve customer service issues
Providing telephone support and advice to the Government Framework Officers in the provision of product information on Office Solutions Portfolio including MFP (Multi-Function Printer) hardware, Solutions Software, Sharp Visual Solutions and Optimised IT Services.
Utilising the CRM system to effectively manage customers and prospects.
 
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in an Inside sale, internal Sales or Sales Support role in a technical product environment such as Document Solutions, IT or related technology services industry.
  • Previous working knowledge of Public Sector Purchasing process and Frameworks Contracts is ideal but not essential.
  • Excellent telephone communication skills including active listening skills and the ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive.
  • Ability to project an enthusiastic and positive attitude down the phone.
  • Ability to manage the expectations of the Sales Management Team and End Customers.
  • Ability to think on your feet to solve problems.
  • Word and Excel skills, financial and business writing ability
  • Web based prospecting and market research skills
  • CRM and database management experience
  • A level standard or equivalent, strong Maths & English skills
  • Formal Sales / Telesales Training preferable
