Business Development Executive

Role Overview:
We are looking for 2 highly motivated and driven individuals to join our new business sales team. You may have prior experience in a business development, telesales, cold calling, appointment setting or sales executive role but you will definitely be self-motivated, an excellent communicator, confident in talking to business people at all levels, able to develop relationships and handle objections confidently. Excellent career progression available for the right people including potential limited opportunities to study for a sales degree

Key Responsibilities:
Calling all sizes of businesses in a designated postcode area – leads supplied
Working to a targeted number of calls per day and appointments confirmed per month
Engaging Commercial level businesses to introduce Sharp products and solutions to identify and establish interest
Identifying appropriate decision makers/stakeholders and procurement processes
Generating qualified leads and arranging appointments at senior level on behalf of our Account Managers
Understanding and demonstrating USPs that differentiate us from competitors
Effectively manage a large database and develop/grow this over time through self-generated information
Continually learning product set in order to discuss it confidently – full training given 
 
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
Excellent telephone communication skills including active listening skills and the ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive
Engaging communication style, able to quickly build rapport
Ability to project enthusiastic and positive attitude down the phone
Ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers and determine buying process
Ability to think on your feet and handle objections
Ability to talk to business people at all levels
Quick to pick up technology offering (full product training given) and be able to discuss confidently with potential customers
IT skills are required for efficient documentation and research
Ability to consistently hit targets
Very motivated, driven and able to manage own workload.
Desirable:
Prior telesales, new business, cold calling or business development experience
Knowledge of technology solutions such as Managed Print, IT industry and Visual Solutions
CRM / database experience would be an advantage
