Commercial Administrator – Sales Order Processor – FTC

Role Overview
This is a fast-moving role involving the accurate processing, planning and delivery of sales orders to the customer base. You will be responsible for end to end administration from order received to delivery.  Fixed Term to the end of May 2019 with potential to go permanent

Key Responsibilities:
  • All aspects of sales order processing from receiving the order to delivery.
  • Establishing strong working relationships with the sales team, acting as office based key contact and providing them with the administrative support to ensure deals are logged correctly and on time.
  • Working with external finance companies to explore all possible routes to receiving credit clearance on lease deals.
  • Dealing with booking arrangements and load planning of orders to fulfil customer needs, meet internal targets and with consideration of logistical lead times.
  • Customer account liaison and relationship development.
  • Calculating and costing all deals for management accounts.
  • Authorising new deliveries and collections of equipment.
  • Invoicing leasing companies or customers direct, verifying contract details.
  • Reconciling and reporting monthly statistics for allocated offices.
  • Managing the order allocation systems.
  • Resolving price discrepancies & supply issues
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Confident communicator, excellent phone skills
Ability to deal at a very detailed level of administration
Well organised and methodical, with great attention to detail.
Highly numerate and confident with numbers
Ability to meet deadlines and work within a pressured environment
Sound knowledge of sales order processing
Experience of using SAP would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided
