IT Support Analyst Level 1 

Great opportunity to join Sharp’s IT Support team based in Wakefield, helping to provide IT support to staff across the business. Ideal opportunity for an individual with some prior experience in a 1st line IT support role looking to progress their career with a leading company

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for logging, updating, and resolving IT related issues using support tools.
Installing hardware and peripherals at SBS UK sites, some travel may be required
Remotely resolving any IT related issues with support software
Providing excellent telephone support and customer service
Maintaining internal IT systems
Occasional project work lead by Level 2/technical consultant including server installations, server migrations and full IT solutions
Updating and maintaining documentation
Co-ordinating own activities with other departments and staff
Provide support to other departments’ personnel as required.

Person Specification:
Able to work well within a technical team
Previous experience in a 1st line support role would be very helpful
Positive attitude, courteous and respectful towards company personnel.
Excellent telephone manner with the ability to communicate with users at all levels in a calm, confident, and professional manner.
Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
Desire to constantly enhance client service delivery.
Willing to enhance their own knowledge and actively share that knowledge with others.
Very self-motivated, takes personal pride in work
Willing to work flexibly to meet demands of a corporate IT environment and high availability of company systems.
Responds well to change
